The 15 comfortably furnished twin-bedded tents at Falaza Game Park and Spa come with large dressing rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and private sundecks. The African décor, soothing earthy colours and tiled floors create a tranquil safari ambiance. Tents are placed amongst lush indigenous trees to ensure guests privacy and tranquillity.

Wildlife

Numerous wildlife species have been reintroduced to Falaza, including nyala, eland, waterbuck, bushbuck, reedbuck, grey duiker and the rare suni. Guests often see white rhino grazing on Falaza’s lawns, while zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, bush pig, hyena, serval, kudu, impala, hippo, and leopard are usually sighted on game drives.

Falaza is a birdwatcher’s delight, with over 300 species recorded. These include riverine, wetlands and forest birds. Rare species include Pink-throated twinspots, Narina trogon, African broadbill, Rudd’s apalis, Lemon-breasted canary and the Grey waxbill.

Children
Children of all ages are welcome at Falaza Game Park.
Children’s Rates do not include activities; these can be booked and charged accordingly on arrival.
Children 13 Years and over are charged the adult per person sharing rate.

Directions

Self-dive instructions:
From Johannesburg:
Take the N2 to Ermelo, Piet Retief, and Pongola, then take the Hluhluwe turn- off and turn left.

From Durban:
Take the N2 up to the coast approximately 300 km, then take the Hluhluwe turn-off and turn right over the N2.
Then travel through Hluhluwe village, though the turning circles until you reach a stop street, here you will turn left. Approximately 2km further on, turn right over the railway line onto the False Bay Road.
Travel 3.3kms, cross over a river, travel further 3.8kms and then turn right at the Falaza Game Park/ False Bay sign. Travel for 4km and at the T-junction turn right onto the D540 dirt road for 1.7 km. Falaza Game park entrance gate is on the right.
