Bordering the Crocodile River, which forms the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park, the Mjejane Game Reserve comprises 4 000 hectares of pristine indigenous bush with ten kilometres of river frontage. Just ten kilometres from the town of Malelane, Mjejane River Lodge perches on the bank of the mighty Crocodile River. The riverine habitat attracts a plethora of birds and wildlife, ensuring guests of a rewarding wildlife experience.

Mjejane River Lodge offers ten luxurious, spacious en-suite rooms, all with private patios overlooking the river and the passing parade of animals coming down for a drink.
Wildlife
Mjejane River Lodge is located on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park, an area known for its superb game viewing. The lodge is situated close to well-used game trails that lead to the water’s edge.
Guests frequently sight the Big Five during their stay, along with cheetah, hippo, wild dog and a large variety of antelope. There are regular sightings of rare species, such as the roan antelope, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and wild dog.
Birdlife is prolific with over 450 species recorded. Raptor sightings include Martial, Tawny and Fish Eagles as well as Steppe Buzzards. Southern Ground Hornbills have nesting sites close to the lodge, and iridescently plumaged birds, such as the Lilac-breasted roller, Southern Carmine Bee-eaters, and Malachite kingfishers are often sighted.

Children
• Children under the age of 5 are accommodated free of charge when sharing with adults.
• Children aged 6 to 11 pay the published child rate when sharing with two full paying adults.
• The full adult rate applies if occupying their own room or when sharing with one adult.
• Children older than 12 years occupy their own room and pay full adult rate.
Triple Sharing: Not applicable, rooms accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and one child
Directions
• BY AIR:
• Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) is the nearest airport just 45 minutes from the reserve.
• Connections are available from OR Tambo International Johannesburg, and also Cape Town and Durban.
• Transfers to lodge are available
• BY ROAD:
• It is a about a 4 hour drive from Gauteng to the lodge.
• Guests can make their way to the nearest city which is Nelspruit, and then take the N4 highway east to Hectorspruit.
• The turn off to the reserve is on the left hand side, just 2.5km (1.5 miles) past Hectorspruit between Malelane and Komatipoort.
